Casa Antonia in Cala D'or

A lovely family villa near Cala D'Or and the marina. Casa Antonia is in a terrific location: in a quiet residential area just a couple of minutes' walk from lovely beaches and the sea, and all the cafés, shops and restaurants of the town and the marina.

The villa is of a traditional Iberian design - with curved whitewashed walls and shuttered windows. All the rooms at the villa are on one level. They're sunny and bright with white walls, tiled floors and pale wood furniture. The living and dining room is especially sunny with windows on two sides looking out over the pool and garden. There's a comfortable sofa and chairs, and a dining table and six chairs. The kitchen is neat and well planned with appliances including a dishwasher and an oven and hob. A door leads out from the kitchen to a shady covered terrace and with a stone barbecue.

There are three bedrooms, one double room and two twin rooms. The double has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. The twin rooms are sunny and bright, looking out onto the pool and garden. They share a second bathroom with a bath and a shower. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned and have been re-designed with new wooden furniture and pale-coloured linen. There's a well-designed pool area and a garden - with a sun-terrace and shade from palm trees and a carob tree.

Casa Antonia is a great holiday house for families and groups of friends. Cala D'Or is just a couple of minutes' walk away - with cafés, restaurants and shops. There are seven lovely beaches within a mile of the resort and the marina is one of the most impressive on Mallorca. And a short drive will take you out into the pretty countryside and traditional villages of this part of the island.
