Casa Des Forti in Cala D'or

A cool and summery whitewashed villa with views of the sea at Cala D'Or, and close to the marina. Casa D'Es Forti is in the residential area of Es Forti, just a 10-minute walk from the beach, rocky headland, shops and restaurants of Cala Egos, and a 10-minute drive from the golf course of Vall D'Or.

Inside, the house is light and bright - with cool tiled floors, white walls and simple wooden furniture. On the ground floor there's a comfortable lounge with tv and chairs around an open fireplace. The dining area has a wooden table and chairs and double doors out onto the pool-garden. The kitchen is a long room with lots of storage space, appliances including a dishwasher and French doors out onto the pool-garden, flooding the room with light. There's a separate utility area. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor too - a double room with an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower.

On the first floor there are three more bedrooms - two doubles with single beds together, and a twin room. There's also a family bathroom with a bath and a shower.

The garden is a lovely space, around a curved swimming pool. There's a sun-terrace surrounded by palms and shrubs, and a shady covered terrace and a poolside wc-bathroom.

Casa D'Es Forti is a lovely house with a great pool-garden. It's in a quiet part of the Es Forti area of Cala D'Or just 10 minutes' walk from Cala Egos - a beautiful beach sheltered by rocky headlands, with shops, restaurants and cafés. It's also close to Cala D'Or's stylish marina - and there are a whole string of gorgeous beaches and rocky coves on this stretch of the coast. The Vall D'Or golf course is also close by - a 10-minute drive from the villa.
