Villa SEscorpi in Cala D'or

A beautiful house overlooking the marina at Cala D'Or. Villa S'Escorpi is on three floors and there are gorgeous views of boats, trees and sky from every level. It's also very close to the small town of Cala D'Or itself, so beaches, cafés and shops are just a five-minute walk away.

Inside, the house has everything that's lovely about a seaside family home. It's full of natural light and sunshine with lots of comfortable and relaxing spaces. The rooms have white walls, black marble floors and beamed ceilings - with traditional Mallorcan design and wooden furniture.

The main living space is on the first floor, so the lounge and dining room have wonderful views - you can see boats sailing past as you relax and eat. There's a lovely covered terrace, again looking out over the marina. It's the perfect space to sit and eat, read and talk, from breakfast right through into the evening. The kitchen is extended for 2010 and is brand new with modern appliances.

Two of the bedrooms are on the lower level - two twin rooms which share a family bathroom with a bath and a shower. Both rooms have bright white linen and are really sunny, with views over the swimming pool. And one of these twin rooms also has a sofa-bed which makes a great single bed for a child. The third bedroom is up on the top floor. It's a lovely double room with views across the water. It has its own family bathroom with a bath and a shower. And there's another pull-out bed here too, again just right for a child. The final two twin bedrooms are located in a guest apartment which is on the ground level near the pool, these two bedrooms share a bathroom.

At the side of the house there's a lovely pool, with a stone sun-terrace and a poolside shower. It's also edged by palms, shrubs and tall conifer trees so there's shade here on really hot and sunny days.

Villa SEscorpi is an elegant and traditional seaside house in a really beautiful place - one of the most secluded and peaceful parts of the whole island. It's a wonderful house for a big group of friends or several families on holiday together. There are two great beaches nearby and it's just a short walk from Cala D'Or which is a really pretty, small and friendly resort.
