Villa Son Teulera in Can Picafort

Villa Son Teulera is a large farmhouse in a private and peaceful countryside location yet only 5-minutes drive to the beaches of Alcudia Bay. It is unique due the fact it has been specially constructed with full accessibility in mind with regards to guests.

The villa in peaceful countryside is approached down a long driveway from the road with electric access gates and therefore is very private and secure. There is a garage here with electric doors for access.

Outside there is a large covered dining terrace providing plenty of shade and a large iron barbecue. There are 2 large parasols around the swimming pool which is fenced and has 2 entrances both of which can be locked.

Every detail of the villa has been thought of to cater for guests with walking difficulties and wheelchairs. - from direct wheelchair access for every bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom. There is also an internal high quality lift, the first one we have seen in a villa, which leads to the the large child-friendly gated swimming pool.

There is even a pool hoist here to ensure that all guests have access to the wonderful pool area. The gated pool which can be locked means extra security for young children in the party.

To the other side of the house in the grounds is a large field with lots of fruit trees and orhcards which can of course be enjoyed. On the ground floor there is a large open-plan lounge and dining room coolly furnished wiht Mallorca antiques leading into a large fully fitted kitchen. There is a separate laundry room and an additional shower bathroom.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are mostly identical and have special clothes hanging rails, and every bathroom fitting in the bathrooms are wheelchair-friendly. In the hallway the state-of-the art lift leads to the first floor with the remaining three bedrooms.

The property is also ideal for elderly clients and young kiddies due to ease of accessibility and gated pool area.

The villa is also near the medieval Spanish Town of Santa Margalida about 10-minutes drive from the Bay of Alcudia. However the beach resorts of Can Picafort and Son Serra de Marina also belong to this area. Santa Margalida is quite a busy little town particularly on market days on Tuesdays and Saturdays and also the main square where there are a number of bars and restaurants to sample wonderful home-made "tapas"

Can Picafort though is the nearest resort and you will find there lots of shops, sports, night life and restaurants as well as a sailing club. Son Serra on the other hand is very quiet with a nice beach and a couple of restaurants.

The villa lies 5-minute drive away from the beaches of Ca'n Picafort and has been built on a plot of 7000m2.
