Ca Na Malena in Can Picafort

>Lovely detached villa in a residential area in the resort of Can Picafort, just 700 metres from the resort centre and the nearest sandy beach.

The lovely family friendly resort of Can Picafort is a 10-minute drive from Alcudia and 25-minutes from Pollenca.

The front door of Ca Na Malena opens into an attractive lounge dining room, contemporary in style with large glass patio windows that give lots of natural light and access to the covered terrace. Shiny marble floors and a winding open stairway with aluminium rails provide spectacular, extravagant features that catch the eye as soon as you enter this modern villa.

All around are modern touches including spotlights, hand-painted blinds and distinctive artwork. Doors with hand-painted glass in modern design lead from the lounge into the kitchen at the back of the house.

Here, there is another TV lounge with comfy sofas and a low wall separating the open-plan kitchen which features lovely cool marble work surfaces and warm wooden units. A split-level oven, vitro hob and modern extractor are just some of the modern amenities you'll find in this well-equipped kitchen. There is also a breakfast table in the corner and a separate ironing room.

Stairs from the kitchen lead to a huge basement garage with a table tennis table plus a utility room with washing machine and dryer and a shower bathroom.

An archway to the left on the ground level goes to a twin bedroom at the front of the house and a separate shower bathroom with walk-in shower that boasts invigorating hydro-massage jets. The magnificent sweeping stairway leads up to the second level which has smart, polished wooden floors.

To the left is a double bedroom with private dressing area and a covered terrace overlooking the front of the house. There is a large en-suite bathroom finished in attractive marble and boasting a large vanity mirror and swish semi-sunken Jacuzzi bath. Also upstairs is another full bathroom, plus a twin bedroom with a small terrace overlooking the pool just big enough to sit and read.

The final bedroom is a double with stylish wooden flooring and also looks out onto the rear patio. Outside, a door from the kitchen leads to a covered terrace at the back of the villa with two steps down to the patio. Here there is a lovely pergola that covers a table making it the perfect place for summer dining - particularly since there's a small brick barbecue nearby.

Lovely flowering hibiscus and pretty fruit trees abound in the garden with a nice-sized family swimming pool. A beautiful holiday villa, with lots of character and charm.
