Can Vert in Pollensa

A relaxing family villa in the countryside between Pollença and the sea. Can Vert is a traditional Mallorcan stone house with lots of space and light, surrounded by pretty gardens with wonderful views of farmland and mountains. It's still less than a 10-minute drive from restaurants, shops and cafés, as well as beautiful beaches.

The house is set back from a country lane so it's peaceful and private. Inside, the rooms are all at ground level. There's a sunny lounge-diner with sofas, a dining table and chairs, a tv and dvd/cd stereo, and two sets of double doors out onto the pool terrace. The kitchen is neat and well planned with white units, a walk-in pantry, a breakfast table, and appliances including a dishwasher, a washing machine, an oven, hob and a microwave.

There are three light and bright bedrooms with air-conditioning and lots of storage space. The double is a really great room with an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower, and lovely views through palm trees to the countryside. The two twin rooms look onto the pool and garden. They're close to a family bathroom with a bath and a shower.

There's lots of pretty outside space around the house. At the front there's a long drive, lined with palm trees and lights, and a wide stone courtyard with plenty of parking space. There's more garden space behind the house - a lovely pool surrounded by lawns, a long and shady covered terrace with cane furniture, table tennis, lots of Mediterranean plants, trees and hedges, a small pond, and all with beautiful views on the mountains. It's incredibly private with farmland all around. There's also a fantastic outside cooking area in a separate garden house with a barbecue oven, a sink, fridge and preparation space, and an ivy-covered dining area. There's another wc-bathroom here too.

Can Vert is a great family villa with privacy and peace and lots of space for children to play. It's in gentle flat countryside which is perfect for walking or cycling. And it's also very close both to the old town of Pollença - with historic buildings, shops, restaurants, cafés and bars - and the lovely resort of Puerto Pollença. Both are less than 10 minutes away by car. There's a supermarket even closer.
