Can Volanti Dos is just across a country lane from the 5-bedroomed Can Volanti and so together these villas are ideal for groups of up to 16. This villa is designed for spending relaxing evenings and long, hot days outside.
It's also an easy walk to lovely restaurants and shops in just a few minutes and into the heart of Pollença's old town in 15 minutes. There's a lovely mosaic-tiled pool here with a stone sun terrace. The landscaped gardens are full of olive trees, and orange and banana trees, and graceful palm trees shade a lawned area. A huge stone terrace with a beamed roof runs around two sides of the villa. It has a lovely barbecue-oven area and is the perfect place to eat as the sun sets. There is the added convenience of a shower bathroom here also.
There are beautiful views across the private gardens to the nearby Boquer mountains, which are easy to explore on a number of country trails. The house itself is all on one level. It has tiled floors and white walls and is simply furnished. The living area has satellite television with some English channels, and a dvd and cd player. The large and well designed farmhouse-style kitchen overlooks the pool. The double master bedroom has a brand new en-suite bathroom, and the two twin bedrooms are across from the entrance hall, and share a newly decorated large bathroom. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned.
Can Volanti Dos is a lovely and very comfortable place to stay in a fantastic location - close to the Boquer mountains but also on the outskirts of Pollenca itself. It's just a 15-minute walk from here to the heart of the old town, the Placa Major. The villa's shady gardens and covered terraces make it a great base for a family holiday. And the beautiful beaches of Puerto Pollenca are also just a short drive away. Also, very nearby there is a lovely local shop that sells hand-made wooden furniture and antiques.
