Casa Horta Den Menut in Pollensa

A newly renovated townhouse situated on one of the principal entrances to Pollensa near to the historic roman bridge. Very central location with local restaurants, shops and the main square just a short walk away.

The front door has double doors into a pretty hallway. A stairway on the left leads to bedrooms on the upper level and to the right is a beautifully tiled family bathroom that has a bath with overhead shower and a separate double bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space.

Two steps up lead into a large open-plan lounge dining room which is decorated in the local style with open stone walls contrasting with white-painted ceilings and modern spotlighting with gorgeous ceramic tiled floors.

There is a large wood burning stove against one wall and white built- in units for the tv and dvd. This lounge has wide sofas with lots of cushions grouped around the fire and then a separate large glass dining table and chairs at the further end with glass doors out onto the back terrace.

The kitchen is to the right of the lounge and has double doors out to the lovely terrace and gardens. The kitchen is a simple mallorcan style with marble worktops and light wood units with decorative wall tiles and a built-in corner hood over a gas hob. There is a breakfast table and chairs and modern stainless steel appliances.

At the back of the villa is a delightful covered "chill out" terrace furnished with modern table and chairs, lots of pretty flowerpots and eye-catching white drapes to give shade. This is an enchanting spot to relax and dine overlooking the pool and gardens with a delightful backdrop of the Tramuntana mountains in the distance.

There is a brick bbq to the side and a small lawn. The pool has lovely grey ceramic tiling. It's gated and has a raised wood decked sunbathing terrace and steps up to the pool.

The pool has large steps which are ideal for younger children to play in shallow water.

There is a spiral stairway that leads to an upper tiled sun terrace from where you can overlook the pool and gardens and appreciate those lovely mountain views.

Inside the house on the upper level on the right of the stairs is a shower bathroom with large walk-in shower and a heated towel rack .

There are twin bedrooms decorated with lovely framed prints and pretty curtains and then two steps up lead to a further double bedroom that has an ensuite full bathroom with a wonderful furnished terrace overlooking the gardens below. This bedroom also has a large dressing area and plenty of wardrobe space.

All bedrooms have aircon units for hot and cold air.

Being a village house, there are neighbours either side so it is not completely private but the garden is very peaceful and shops and restaurants are only a short stroll away.
