Casa Pollenca Dalt in Pollensa

Casa Pollenca D'alt is a lovely restored town house located in a quiet area of Pollenca old town, only three minutes walk from the main square.

This three-storey town house has been restored to a very high standard. All fixtures and fittings are new, however the owner has taken great care in retaining many of the building's original features.

Entry in to the house is through wooden double doors and an interior set of glass doors in to the living room. The interior walls of the living room are original and give a real contemporary affect to the room. There are two comfortable sofas, a large coffee table, and a flat-screen tv. The dining area is separated from the living room and has windows overlooking the lower terrace area and a door leading to this terrace.

The kitchen is modern, complete with all new appliances and there is also a large walk-in pantry. A shower bathroom off from here completes the first floor.

A railed staircase leads to the first floor. On this level is a large twin bedroom with full en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has access to a large terrace which is furnished with sun-loungers and seating for eight. There is also a portable gas barbecue here which can be moved from terrace to terrace.

The second bedroom on this level is a double which features beamed ceilings from the original house. There are large fitted wardrobes and an ensuite shower bathroom.

Continuing up the railed staircase to the third level brings you to the last two bedrooms. The first of the rooms is a double bedroom at the front of the house and has beautiful views of the Calvary steps. This room is also en-suite with a shower bathroom.

The other bedroom on this level, a twin, has large windows which look out over the pool. There are fitted wardrobes, and an en-suite full bathroom.

Outside, the lower terrace is accessed through doors from the dining room and kitchen. This lower terrace has a built-in stone bench with a small covered area. From this terrace there are seven steps leading up to the raised pool. The walls surrounding the pool are whitewashed and offer total privacy. Up seven more steps leads to the terrace off the first floor with sun-loungers and seating for everyone.
