An enchanting reformed farmhouse cottage in an idyllic location, set in the very heart of the Colonya Valley, directly below the dramatic Puig des Rafalet mountain surrounded by green woodland and pretty olive groves. This villa looks like it should be made of bread and cake like in a Hansel and Gretel storybook. All you can hear is birdsong and the breeze, fabulous.

It's a villa full of lovely surprises. The house is extremely private and peaceful with the most amazing views down into the valley. A tranquil spot for a quiet nature holiday but with Pollenca old town just a short drive away for fantastic restaurants or for the bustling Sunday morning market.

The villa is at the very end of a quiet lane and has a large gravelled parking area with a pretty mirador that has a small table and chairs from where to enjoy the fabulous views.

The pool area has surrounding sun terraces with a low balustrade wall next to a covered barbecue casita with bench table and chairs and corner sofas.

3 steps up lead to a large covered terrace that runs the full length of the villa. There is a solid distressed wood dining table here with wrought iron backed chairs, antique farming implements, stone seating with pretty cushions, beautiful plant pots and a comfy wicker sofa and table to relax with a book and a glass of wine. Arabic lights give an eclectic bohemian feel and a calming atmosphere.

There is also a "chill-out" covered area at the side of the terrace furnished with a white mattress with a canopy and seating .

The entrance to this stunning villa is through a mallorcan low-beamed solid wood door on the terrace and leads into this delightful villa that has original open stone walls and beamed ceilings. There is a solid wood and glass dining table with a large chandelier hanging above. The design is a fusion of traditional Mallorcan farmhouse with a contemporary interior and the effect is amazing.

The kitchen is open plan and is to the left. It has white units with an island for the sink and storage units. There is a modern vitro hob with a large stainless steel cooker hood, a split level oven and microwave, a large fridge freezer and a small dispenser with mallorcan wood door.

The lounge is to the right and is decorated simply with open stone and neutral walls, a cream sofa and a distressed coffee table. There is a flat screen tv here with dvd and sat . A door with small glass panes leads onto the front covered terrace.

The new ceramic floor tiling throughout give a weathered traditional effect and contrast beautifully with the modern decoration. For 2010 the lounge will have a wood burning stove.

Between the lounge and the dining room is a stairway leading to the upper level bedrooms.

On the left is a fantastic twin bedroom (beds pushed together) that has sloping beamed ceilings with spotlights, deep red painted walls and striking bedside tables and arabic wall lights. There is a large picture window that looks out over the valley across rolling fields towards Pollensa.

The bathroom is completely inside the bedroom and has a wc separated from view by a small dividing wall. There is a large modern sink unit and a large corner jacuzzi bath.

To the right of the stairway is another bedroom that has two beds pushed together decorated with distressed white wood furniture. This bedroom also has the bathroom integrated into the bedroom with the wc hidden from view by a small dividing wall..It thas a rectangular jacuzzi bath and both baths have a hidden pull out shower attachment for showering.There is also a glass sink on a pedestal here and pretty small paned windows overlooking the front of the villa.

There are air-conditioning units for hot and cold air in the bedrooms.
