Villa Son Brull in Pollensa
A fantastic stuccoed house with extensive gardens, gated driveway and a lovely pool. Villa Son Brull is in the countryside outside Pollenca, in a very quiet place down a country lane with great views of the Puig Maria mountain. It's very close to Pollenca's golf course and is also just a five-minute drive from the old town of Pollenca with all its restaurants, cafes and shops. Inside, the house is a combination of modern design and traditional Mallorcan country style.
The rooms have white walls, cool terracotta-tiled floors and beamed ceilings. On the ground floor there's a large farmhouse-kitchen with lots of storage space in a pantry and in fitted wooden cupboards. There's a dining table and chairs here too and appliances including a dishwasher and a large fridge-freezer. This room leads out onto a covered terrace overlooking the gardens and pool. There's a large and bright lounge with a smaller reading room with comfortable chairs, satellite tv and a dvd and cd stereo, and a shower bathroom on this ground level also. The bedrooms are on the first floor; they are all air-conditioned. There are three light and airy twin rooms all with fitted wardrobes and white linen. The double room is especially large with a luxurious en-suite bathroom with double sinks and a sunken bath and shower with mosaic tiles. There is a further shower bathroom upstairs.
There are lovely gardens at the villa with lots of lawns, tall trees and Mediterranean plants. From the pool there are amazing views over to the wooded Puig Maria mountain. A really well-designed covered terrace joins the house to the gardens, overlooking the pool, again with great views of the mountain. There's a built-in barbecue here with a bread oven and a sink. Villa Son Brull is a great base for a family holiday or a relaxing place to stay with friends. It's in a very pretty part of the countryside with amazing mountain views but it's still only a short drive from Pollenca, the beaches and resort of Puerto Pollenca and Pollenca's golf course.
