Finca Almadrava in Pollensa
This is a traditional finca in the glorious countryside around Pollenca, and also just a short drive away from the resort of Puerto Pollenca. Finca Almadrava has been built in traditional style using Mallorcan stone. It's in a very peaceful spot and from the terraces and pool area there are wonderful panoramic views of mountains and the countryside the property also has a gated driveway.
Inside, the finca has been decorated in a combination of modern and traditional style - with white walls and tiled floors, antique furniture and collections of ceramics and glass.
The comfortable lounge has a television, dvd player and cd stereo. There's also a wood-burning fire here for cooler evenings. Double doors lead out onto the covered terrace which overlooks the pool and gardens.
An archway from the lounge leads to the dining area and farmhouse kitchen. There's a traditional marble-topped table and a corner dresser. Appliances include a dishwasher and a microwave. There are two bathrooms on the ground floor and three bedrooms - a double bedroom and two twin rooms.
On the first floor there is a cosy second lounge area which overlooks the main lounge. This area has its own television. The fourth bedroom, also on this floor, has an en-suite shower bathroom and its own small terrace with wonderful views across open countryside.
There are lovely gardens at Finca Almadrava with lawns and mature trees and shrubs. There's a good-sized pool with sun-terraces around it. On the patio at the side of the villa there is also a separate stone building which houses a utility room with a washing machine, a lavatory and a shower for after a swim. There's a barbecue with a bread oven here too and a table-tennis table. Finca Almadrava is a lovely villa in beautiful countryside, and yet the old town of Pollenca and the beaches of Puerto Pollenca are only a five-minute drive away.
