Finca Cocorroi in Pollensa

Finca Cocorroi is a really spacious three-bedroom farmhouse located down a private cul-de-sac off the Pollenca-Puerto Pollenca roundabout. It has recently been renovated and extended into a wonderful property with a gated drive. It's in one of the most sought-after areas on the island, on the edge of the old town of Pollença.

When you leave your villa turn left and a few minutes' stroll from here is Plaça Major, Pollença's graceful main square with wonderful restaurants and pavement cafés. The inside of the villa is very airy and bright with high beamed ceilings, tiled floors and white walls. It's all on one level. It's been very well re-designed and still feels like a traditional farmhouse. There are original features here too, like the covered Mallorcan well in the hall.

The huge kitchen has marble worktops and appliances including a dishwasher, a washing machine and a microwave. The large lounge and dining area has a high beamed ceiling and double doors onto the terrace. It feels cool and airy here even on the hottest summer day. The woodwork and fixtures are of the highest standard throughout and still retain Mallorcan charm.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are equally spacious and again have white walls and simple and elegant furnishings. The master double bedroom has a full en-suite bathroom, and walk-in wardrobes. There are two further twin bedrooms, again with fitted wardrobes. These bedrooms share a second bathroom. The villa is approached down a driveway leading to the original courtyard of the farmhouse, and has its own private parking space.

Finca Cocorroi has very secluded gardens with extensive lawned areas. The pool is a good size and has roman steps. Sun terraces run alongside the pool and there's also a covered terrace, overlooking the pool, between the house and the gardens. This is the perfect place to shade from the sun in the day and to eat outside in the evenings. There's a built-in barbecue here too with an elegant dining table and a table-tennis table. Finca Cocorroi is a lovely villa for families or couples. Great beaches are less than ten minutes' drive away, and shops and supermarkets are just a minute away.
