Finca La Font Jaume in Pollensa

A pretty villa in a great location on the edge of the historic old town of Pollença as the countryside begins. Villa La Font Jaume is in a peaceful place down a country lane in the upmarket La Font area. It's close enough to walk from here into Pollença to restaurants, cafes, shops and historic sites. Inside, the villa is all at ground level. The rooms are cool, bright and airy with high ceilings and stone floors. Every room has air-conditioning - as well as central heating for holidays in early spring and late autumn. There's a spacious open-plan lounge and dining room with a round dining table and comfortable sofas. There's satellite tv and a dvd and cd stereo here and a very unusual lighting system which lets you choose different coloured lights to suit your mood! The kitchen is neat and well planned with appliances including a dishwasher and a microwave. Laundry can be done in the separate utility room. There are two bedrooms - a double room and a twin. Both rooms are light, simple and uncluttered with wooden beds and bright white linen. They also both have lots of storage space in fitted wardrobes. Opposite the bedrooms there is a bathroom with a bath and a shower. There's plenty of well-designed outside space at the villa. Doors from the lounge lead out onto a long and shady covered terrace which runs round two sides of the house and has beautiful views across to the mountains of the Boquer. The swimming pool has gentle roman steps and a waterfall cascade. It's surrounded by a paved sun-terrace and a garden with lots of lawn space and Mediterranean plants and flowers. There's also a pool-shower here for after a swim. Villa La Font Jaume is a very welcoming villa for a relaxing holiday with friends or family. It's in a great location within easy walking distance of Pollenca and also on the edge of gentle countryside for cycling and walking. The beautiful bay and resort of Puerto Pollenca are just a 5-minute drive away so it's also really easy to spend the whole day at the beach.
