Ca Na Tonina in Pollensa
A beautifully designed stone villa with the styling of a 5-star hotel. Ca Na Tonina is a very cosy and welcoming house full of luxury and good design - with a heated hydrotherapy jacuzzi-spa. It's in a lovely part of the Pollenca countryside with views over the surrounding farmland and across to the Puig Maria mountain. It's also just a few minutes' drive from the town of Pollenca and the beach and sea at Puerto Pollenca.
Inside, the house is all at ground level. The rooms are light, cool and bright - with white walls, beamed wooden ceilings and terracotta-tiled floors. There's an open-plan kitchen-diner and lounge. The kitchen area has lots of storage space and counter-surface and appliances including a dishwasher and a fridge-freezer. The lounge has neutral furniture and comfortable sofas. There's satellite television here and a dvd/cd stereo too. Double doors leads out from the lounge onto a shady terrace overlooking the pool.
There are two fantastic bathrooms with sparkling white fittings, stone tiles, mirrors and green glass. One bathroom has a jacuzzi bath, and the other has a large shower. There are two bedrooms: a very spacious double room with great mountain views, and a twin room with a large double fitted wardrobe for lots of storage space. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned.
The pool and spa area are particularly lovely. Clever lighting on the covered stone terrace makes this the perfect place to eat and relax from breakfast right through into the evening, looking out over the pool and across to the mountains. A sun-terrace runs around the pool, and there's a stone barbecue area here too with its own sink. The jacuzzi-spa heats up to 37 degrees so you can relax outside even on early- and late-season holidays when the sea is a bit too cool for spending long days on the beach!
Ca Na Tonina is a really great villa - brand new and very well designed. It's a great holiday house for friends, a small family, or for a romantic break. It's in pretty countryside but is still close to the cafes, restaurants and shops of Pollenca and the beaches of Puerto Pollenca which are all a 5-minute drive away.
