Can Joan in Pollensa

Can Joan is a lovely old stone farmhouse with lots of original design features and character. It is in a wonderful location - hidden away off a tiny country lane and very private with a gated driveway. But because this villa is in the exclusive La Font area of Pollença, it is also just a fifteen-minute walk from the old town, and even closer to restaurants and supermarkets.

Through the gated drive and into the villa there an entrance hallway leads to the large lounge and dining area. This is a very comfortable room with a traditional Mallorcan fireplace, three sofas, and satellite television and a dvd player and cd stereo. An antique dining table and chairs seat eight, and double doors open out onto the terrace which overlooks the garden.

There is a large kitchen with another table and chairs, and appliances including a dishwasher. A door from the kitchen opens onto the terrace and gardens. Also here on the ground floor are two twin bedrooms which share a full bathroom.

The double master bedroom covers the whole of the first floor. French doors lead out from the bedroom onto a lovely balcony with mountain views of Puig de La Font. There's an en-suite full bathroom with jacuzzi bath and seperate shower, and a huge extra private living room with a seating area and a second television.

Outside, the villa is equally beautifully designed and furnished. There's a large covered terrace running around two sides of the house, with lots of outdoor furniture and a separate barbecue area with its own sink.

The gardens are very private and family friendly with plenty of shade from mature trees and palms. Lawns run around two sides of the pool with furnished sun terraces around the other sides. The pool itself has roman steps and a water slide and there is an outdoor table-tennis table for your entertainment. - and adults!. You may also catch sight of the lovely neighbouring horse in its stable which should also please the children.

Can Joan is a great place for families or couples. It's a very private and comfortable farmhouse that's also within easy walking distance of the old town of Pollença, and a short drive to Puerto Pollença and the beach.
