Can Miguel in Pollensa

A pretty villa on the edge of Pollenca's historic old town, down a private driveway from the Pollenca road. Can Miguel is a ten-minute walk from the main square, Placa Major, and all the town's cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries. And because Pollenca is surrounded by beautiful countryside, the villa also has lovely views of the famous Puig Maria mountain.

Inside, the house is very bright and airy with a clean design - white walls, beamed ceilings and terracotta-tiled floors. All the rooms are at ground level. There's a cool lounge with exposed stone walls and white-painted wooden furniture. There's satellite tv and a dvd and stereo here too. Double doors open out on to the terraces and pool. There's a separate dining room with lovely views over the garden and another set of double doors. This room opens up to the kitchen - a really well designed room with lots of storage in brand-new cupboards, marble work-surfaces and stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher. There's a separate utility room at the back of the house with a washing-machine and an extra wc.

There are two bright bedrooms with pretty furniture and white linen - a double room and a twin room. The double room looks out towards the Puig Maria mountain. Both rooms are air-conditioned. They share a full bathroom with a bath and a shower.

The outside space at Can Miguel is very well designed with different levels of stone terracing surrounding the swimming pool. There's a barbecue and a stone dining table and seats, under old olive and fruit trees. The terraces and pool have incredibly atmospheric views over the rooftops of the old town of Pollenca.

This is a lovely villa in a fantastic location - less than ten minutes' walk from the heart of Pollenca's old town. It's the ideal place for making the most of Pollenca into the evening as well as through the day. The house is down a driveway from the main road out of Pollenca. It's also very close to the town's sports centre - just 200m away - and just a short drive from the famous Pollenca golf course. The sea and sheltered bay of Puerto Pollenca are a 5-minute drive away.
