The villa has a gated entrance and six steps up to a wide wood front door with side glass panels opening directly into this impressive villa which is like walking into an art gallery, with gorgeous lamps, mirrors and paintings. The floors throughout are of natural beige travertino marble and the walls are a contrast of rich grey stone and bright white with sunken spotlights.
The décor is minimal, stylish and essentially masculine with a dark furniture theme - very original. It's the exceptional quality which makes this villa so outstanding.
Directly in front of the entrance is a double height ceiling with the stairs leading to the upstairs level and on the right is an L-shaped lounge dining room with the kitchen.
There is a large black dining table with wicker-backed chairs in the dining area and the lounge has a large black leather sofa and two distinctive animal print velvet armchairs grouped around a low coffee table. There is a large flat-screen tv and hifi here and fashionable standing lamps. The lounge is surrounded by full height glass sliding doors with distinct black framework and black electric blinds, almost like they are framed paintings looking out to the pool and gardens.
Double doors lead out to covered terrace overlooking the pool, furnished with comfy wicker sofas and wide easy chairs. There is also a wooden dining table and chairs which is just to the side of the barbecue area. The terrace wraps around three sides of the villa.
The fully equipped kitchen has a wide sliding door and is accessed from the lounge dining room. Grey units and white silestone surfaces make for a clean uncluttered look and there is a large american side-by-side fridge freezer.
There is also a split-level oven and fitted microwave, a modern induction vitro hob and a double steel sink. There is also a unusual weaved clear perspex breakfast table and chairs that are really eye-catching in its design.
The views from the kitchen are to the front of the villa and there is a door from the kitchen onto the side terrace that is partially covered over a large brick barbecue and outdoor sink.
To the left of the entrance on this ground level is a wc and next to this is a twin bedroom with the beds pushed together overlooking the side of the villa. This bedroom has an ensuite shower bathroom with a large walk-in glass shower unit. All of the bathrooms have the same beige marble surfaces as the floors and they have enormous mirrors on the walls giving a sensation of space and light.
The stone staircase has a glass-panelled railing and the second level hallway has dark wood floors and large windows looking out towards the bay.
Directly in front of the stairs is a full bathroom with a large bath and overhead shower.
There is a large twin bedroom that has sliding doors out onto a superb upper terrace that is shared with the master bedroom. There is plenty of sunbathing space here and incredible views of the sea and distant mountains and of the Fortalesa fortress across the bay. There is also a handy stairway here leading down to the lower lounge and dining room terrace. The master double bedroom sharing this terrace has a large framed double bed with side-tables. There is a flat-screen tv on the wall and modern up-lighting on the walls with striking artwork. This bedroom has an extremely large, ensuite bathroom with a bath and separate walk-in over-sized shower with a 'floating' wc and bidet.
