Villa Torres in Puerto Pollensa
Villa Torres is a lovely family villa. It's in the ideal location for exploring the whole of the Pollenca area - it's just a five-minute drive from both Pollenca old town and Puerto Pollenca. Villa Torres has been built at the side of a pretty lane that runs between the town and the bay and has a gated driveway.
The garden and pool area at Villa Torres are impressive with a superb green tiled pool surrounded by lawns. There's a large sunbathing terrace and a covered terrace with a pan-tiled roof which runs along the front of the house. There's a brick-built barbecue and table-tennis table too. The terraces and gardens have wonderful views across open countryside to the Puig de Maria mountain.
There is also a long gravelled and gated drive with parking for several cars.
Inside, the house is in modern Mallorcan style with white walls, high beamed ceilings and tiled floors. On the ground floor the lounge with satellite television with some English channels. dvd and cd player, and dining room have an original traditional fireplace and comfortable sofas. Stairs from this room run up to a cosy second lounge and reading area which can also be used as a mezzanine sleeping area for a seventh person (an extra bed is required for older children or adults - £75pw). The kitchen is brand new in a modern and practical design. Appliances include a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.
There are three bedrooms at Villa Torres: a double room and two twin rooms. The double bedroom is really spacious with a separate dressing area and walk-in wardrobe. It also has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. All three bedrooms are air-conditioned.
Both the twin bedrooms also have fitted wardrobes with lots of storage space, and they share a shower bathroom. Villa Torres is a lovely brand new villa in a great location close to the beaches, restaurants and shops of Puerto Pollenca and also the historic town of Pollenca. With respect to the location of the villa, the pool hadn't been designed when the google earth image was taken.
