Villa Seguinot in Puerto Pollensa

Villa Seguinot is a stone villa in the very pretty countryside of El Vila. It's a great base for a walking or cycling holiday. The landscape of this area is gentle and flat but the Can Botana mountains are just a short drive away - there are beautiful views of their wooded slopes from the villa and its gardens.

The villa itself is in a peaceful spot, down a long drive from a country lane. It's newly built and inside it's been designed in a modern Mallorcan style. The rooms have white walls and terracotta-tiled floors, with traditional dark-wood furniture.

On the ground floor there's a light and airy lounge with sofas, satellite television, a dvd and a stereo. There's also an elegant dining room with double doors opening out onto a covered terrace overlooking the pool and gardens. The kitchen is well laid-out with lots of storage space and marble work surfaces. The kitchen also leads out onto the pool-terrace. Also on the ground floor there's a cloakroom, a separate pantry and a laundry room.

On the first floor there's a lovely and light double bedroom with an en-suite shower bathroom. Two twin rooms share a bathroom with baths and showers. The bedrooms have air-conditioning and there's central heating throughout the villa for holidays in early spring and late autumn. There's lots of outside space at Villa Seguinot. At the back of the house a covered terrace overlooks the pool and gardens. Lawns surround the pool and the gardens are edged with trees. There's an outside cooking area here too, with a covered barbecue oven and a sink. A second covered terrace runs along the front of the house offering lovely mountain views.

Villa Seguinot is a comfortable house for a country holiday with a group of friends or family. It's in a pretty setting, great for exploring the area around Pollenca. It's very peaceful here but it's also just a 25-minute walk to the edge of the resort of Puerto Pollenca where you will find a selection of restaurants, shops and bars.

The pedestrian walkway into Puerto Pollenca on the main road has now been extended to the end of the lane the villa is situated on - making it easier to get into the Port on foot.
