Ca Na Volantina in Puerto Pollensa
A brand new, magnificent and luxuriously appointed platinum villa. Ca Na Volantina is set back from a quiet lane in a tranquil location surrounded by mountain views, yet only 2-minutes drive to Puerto Pollensa and it's wonderful sandy beach.
Situated off the Cami Volantina, which is a quiet rural lane with a pretty stream running down the side - near to the Llenaire area on the Bay of Puerto Pollensa. The villa is accessed by a 300 metre long private driveway with a gated entrance and is surrounded by open fields and distant mountains. The façade is of local mallorcan stone but has eye-catching white window frames giving a characteristic feature.
At the side of the villa is a large gravelled parking area and there are steps and a ramp access up to the house which is raised up but inside is all on one level.
The highlight of this villa has to be its stunning terrace which overlooks the pool and gardens and from where to appreciate the spectacular views which reach over to the Formentor Peninsular. To one end there is a cream awning covering a beautiful wicker table and chairs for outside dining and at the side is a corner covered area decorated with wicker sofas and a small coffee table to relax with a book or simply to use as a chill-out area or your own pre-dinner "drinks reception".. The terrace is beautifully tiled and is full of colourful flower pots.
Large glass floor to ceiling sliding doors give access to the interior which is full of natural sunlight.
It has high sloping beamed ceilings with white ceilings and walls and a gorgeous dark wood parquet floor throughout. The kitchen is to one end and is decorated in simple modern style with black units and grey silestone work surfaces with fitted oven and microwave.. There is a island with an extra large vitro hob and fitted units and a sink with special high-pressure tap.
Walking into the dining area there is a large solid wood dining table to seat 10 with stylish high-backed chairs. Striking contemporary paintings and sculptures create individuality and colour and there is a large decorative plate on the wall which is just beautiful.
There is an island area between the dining room and the lounge which is a wc bathroom with a cascading tap and an unusual brown granite sink with a fossil design in the corner.
The lounge has large red sofas and an original low round coffee table which is made of iron and is an old wheel used for cutting stone. There are modern lights on the walls and a feature wood burning stove (decoration only) and a large flat screen tv.
A door from the lounge leads onto the side covered terrace and there are large glass sliding doors out onto the front terrace. The bedrooms are all doubles and are all decorated very individually and with finest quality and flair. All of them have en-suite bathrooms, 3 are shower bathrooms and one is a full bathroom. There is a separate utility room housing the washing machine and dryer.
Air-conditioning is hot and cold and is in bedrooms only. The lawned garden is accessed by steps down from the terrace and has newly planted hedges all around the perimeter that will give more privacy. The villa is very open but the nearest neighbours are some distance away, and maximise the marvellous panoramic views.
